Day 4

Hello Kiddlings,

Today's post is dedicated to my parents. 

They were so lovely today, helping me out with my big move. They had some stat decs made and got all my forms together for tomorrow, the D-Day. We're signing the lease and getting the keys. The baby is moving out of the home - I'm so excited. I've been daydreaming of the decor and the layout of my room and have already decided on the furniture (milk crate bed with a valance, mod podged desk, a vanity set with a mirror with dusty looking paint...). 

Anyway the above photo is a beautiful necklace they had made for me while they were overseas. I think it's oh-so-cute. A lovely rabbit for their daughter who was born in the Chinese Year of the Rabbit.  :-)

Day 3

I got home today and wondering how many rolls of film I actually need to get developed.
I believe I have two rolls of b&w film and 3 rolls of colour to take to the photoshop. I have way to many toy cameras, yet they appeal to me so much. Anyway I took this photo in light of the selling of my second Diana Mini. My dad was gorgeous enough to try and surprise me with one (I had just bought one for myself two weeks prior). Such a sweet man.

Day 2

Morning all,

Today's post is dedicated on my career. I thought it would be fun to take my camera into lab today to take some photos. My lab is quite fortunate, we have new facilities, a large lab and a window to look outside. Unfortunately today was miserable and freezing... not exactly the picturesque ideal with this cold front happening.

Days like these make gloomy days in lab, fluorescent compounds however make me extremely happy!
The vials above contain QUANTUM DOTS. They are different colours as they are different sizes :)

Comment me if you want more of an explanation... I just think they look pretty.

Day 1

Alohamora!

Had the longest day, coming home was a big highlight.
I love being inside on a cold day and cuddling with my teapot from T2. Currently sipping on Choc Chip Chai!

(Also a big fan of Chilli Chocolate Tea from Tea Leaves up in Sassafras *love*

A bit more data to analyse and it's bed time for moi!

sretsis is the new lover

Has anyone else realised that Lover is slowly dying off and Sretsis is taking over?

If you think about the items of clothing are similar priced, if not a little bit cheaper (for Sretsis) and the designs are both really girly yet still has some edge.
In my opinion, Sretsis is doing a lot better because they have the accessories to match... those sunnies, the jewelry. Love love love.

I'm quite the teary little girl at the moment.
Three of my close friends are leaving for overseas, two indefinitely.
Indefinitely is a scary scary word.

I'm glad that I've shared many happy memories with these girls!

miu miu at chadstone

I'm usually not that big of a fan of Prada's stuff but I love Miu Miu's girliness.
The store at Chadstone is so cute and the staff are lovely.
(The fact that they have clothes there is even better, not just staring at pretty handbags)

I love the bows necktie things. And the colour palette is so cute (minus the orange. the orange reminds me of alice mccall's martian dress)

Claire Inc holds a three week residency at the Alice Euphemia boutique. Claire Inc founder, Belinda Humphris, started selling covetable designer pieces on Ebay before launching an online boutique in 2008 specializing in 80s and 90s cult Aussie and international designers. Her collaboration with Melbourne located Alice Euphemia comes from “mutual appreciation.” The store, owned by Karen Rieschieck, usually only stocks Antipodean designers, but is making the exception for this special guest.

The ‘pop-up shop’ can be found upstairs in the boutique from the 30th June – 21st July, with both avant-garde and more lavish 80s and 90s pieces promised. Designers will include Chanel, Moschino, Issey Miyake, Kenzo and more. This sale is as rare as the vintage it will be selling, so put it on the calendar now!
