OOTD: the battle of the heat

Wowser, there's a reason I don't leave the house sometimes. It's boiling out.
I went and ran some errands this morning. Last night I had to somehow get up to a 2+ metre high ceiling to try and take down/replace the battery. It kept beeping every minute and was driving me insane, how my friend managed to live with that beeping is beyond me.
