I'm quite the teary little girl at the moment.
Three of my close friends are leaving for overseas, two indefinitely.
Indefinitely is a scary scary word.

I'm glad that I've shared many happy memories with these girls!

OOTD: the battle of the heat

Wowser, there's a reason I don't leave the house sometimes. It's boiling out.
I went and ran some errands this morning. Last night I had to somehow get up to a 2+ metre high ceiling to try and take down/replace the battery. It kept beeping every minute and was driving me insane, how my friend managed to live with that beeping is beyond me.

Went for lunch with my dad who is so funny and then went to Spotlight and Lincraft so I can do some sewing today yay!

These shoes are from Asos. Scooter actually have them in stock at the moment as part of their new collection... selling for a ridiculous 120 AUD. I'm so glad I picked up the white ones for only 7 pounds and the black ones for 12 pounds. Asos forever. For those who want them: LINK

Don't get sucked in by paying 120 for a pair of shoes you can get for much much cheaper. They're exactly the same, same manufacturer I bet.

Sayonara Bestie.

Last Thursday my high school lover had her goodbye party. She's heading back to Oxford to continue with her studies. I'm so sad. She was my tram buddy, my party buddy, my "lets-dance-really-badly" buddy, my "I'm going to bum off you for a month in Bordeaux, France" buddy... She's seriously the best. A mutual friend and I were discussing how she's possibly the coolest chick we know. Props to that.

We had drinks at Lily Blacks and had a really good time. The place didn't close til 3 and we stayed til then. They have an amazing apple cocktail and the glass is rimmed with cinnamon sugar. It's to die for... They also have Little Creatures on tap, first time I'd tried it and I loved it!

Some photos... I wore black velvet/velour leggings that I had made... pity I didn't take a photo of the whole outfit. Will soon though :)

OOTD #23

Aloha all,

I went out to the misery that is Melbourne for dinner today. The weather was so horrid. It started off as sunshine (when I woke up around 11ish) but why 4ish I think it had started to rain a fair bit. Not so cool when you've left you're spanking yellow brolly at home.
(A will beg to differ she hates the brolly)
I love longer sleeved dresses, I just wore a 3/4 sleeve dress with a wool cardi and it kept me warm... despite the reported 100km/h winds.. :o
